Summary: On their rare nights off, they go out.
Riza is ready before he is, and he finds her on the living room couch, looking the paper over again. She's wearing that dress he really likes and the necklace the girls got her for Christmas, and both their coats are sorted out besides her.
"Oh, finally", she says upon seeing him, and she puts her coat on with a smile.
Hayate is fast asleep on one of Roy's sweaters and they walk to the hall carefully.
"I'm glad that we're doing this", he say as Riza tidies his scarf.
"I waited weeks for it", she replies and kisses him slowly, half-smiling.
He grins, too, and he opens the door, his hand finding hers.
