i just watched casino royale.
i could see vesper dying (or at least turning out to be bad, which thankfully she didn't) midway into the movie. the whole time, i was just thinking, "bond can NOT fall in love. ever."
another reason for the above statement was cause i remembered austin powers, when vanessa (who has surprising similarities to vesper) turns out to be a fembot.
but damn was that death scene poignant. it hit quite a nerve.
eva green is beautiful, although not in the same way as natalie portman. beautiful.
she sort of reminds me of penelope cruz though.
oh, and since this is supposedly the first bond storyline, we can now deduce, based from the movie, why james bond is so carefree with women, putting no thought to the possibility of them getting pregnant, etc. --> he's sterile. i was holding my balls in agony at that torture scene.
