So every time I look at him, wither it's in a picture or face to face, I see the love in his eyes that he has for me, and I just get this huge gut wrenching fear. Like I want to put up a barrier so he can't come close to me. because I know it has to end at some time because our lives are going two separate paths and even if we did have the 1/100

Live in the moment and stop worrying so much about the future right now. Whatever happens will happen, it may even surprise you, but don't let what you think could happen drag you down so you're not enjoying what you have right now. You're only 17. Barely. You don't have to make any life-altering decisions right now. Just be happy with what you have, and don't get scared to get close to him. Your lives may lead apart one day, but today is not that day. Enjoy it while you have it, otherwise you'll just regret that you didn't enjoy it once you don't.
