So, um, Finwë Nolofinwë of Hisilómë... I take it you are not feeling too well? I've never met an Elf who suffered from an attack of fever, but I guess there is always a first. You take good care, alright?

King Finwë Nolofinwë is perfectly serious. Oropher doesn't know good science from his elbow.

Triads permeate HRH's scientific writing. They do seem the logical geometric figures for him to choose - all edgy and pointy.

>>Most complex of all is the being of the Elda, which shows to have wood and stone and air in his bones, and water and metal and fire in his blood alone. Every part of the Eldarin being is of most serious composition.<<

Very interesting!

Just out of curiosity: Does HRH have specific reasons for using the slightly exclusive term 'Elda' in describing the species?

Oh, my! No wonder Feanor found him so annoying! Very nice.

Feanor was envious because he did not understand science on such an accurate level.

I had no idea Fingolfin was such a scholar! (Too bad his scholarly theories are such rubbish.)

He is very interested in scholarship. And his theories are not rubbish. They are highly advanced. In fact, they are so advanced that nobody else has the capacity to understand them.

Ah, I understand now! I suppose I should have known that an Elf named Wise Finwe would produce scholarship of such a high caliber that mere mortals such as myself would have no hope of understanding it. No doubt even his half-brother Feanor's mighty intellect was insufficient to the task! *snerk*
