New story posting: Vanyarin Waffle

I've started posting a new-ish story on the Silmarillion Writers Guild archive: You Live Your Life in the Shadow of the Mountain, which some people will recognise from dribbles on Lizard Council and Garden of Ithilien. Only in those places it was called, rather unimaginatively, 'Valinor'. For that reason, I will henceforth continue to refer to it

This Valinor is a little... uh... what most people would classify as 'uncanonical'.

More 'uncanonical' than it used to be in Laurefindil memories? What you wrote there was really interesting, even if different to what I imagine Valinor to be.
I'm sure my vision of Valinor is uncanonical, or to be precise my Vanyar are, too oriental.

It's more or less the same Valinor reference in memories in the Glorfindel arc (and people found it uncanonical there, too).

This one's a little different, owing to its large cast of OCs. It's pretty far removed from Tolkien's world.
