parelle and I have been reading long poetic works out loud to each other, most recently Dante's Divine Comedy. We're on Paradise, but we can't find where in our apartment we put our copy. So today we decided to start on the next thing until we find it, and there was only one possible choice, given the situation: Paradise Lost. :-)

Oh no, that wasn't the case: I haven't read Dante before. I bought The Beekeeper's Apprentice instead of the Inferno when I was in 7th grade and never got around to reading it at all. I don't think I regret that though - I've enjoyed having it read aloud to me rather much.
