and that's problematic on this kind of trip, because if you're visiting friends, you aren't really allowed to mope in your room at all, without someone bugging you to make sure they're entertaining you properly, when the best thing they could do is let you breathe for like 5 seconds

thanks. I get back on the 25th. not much longer...
the weather has definately improved. until Friday, it was consistantly and without interruption, cold and rainy, but since then the temperatures have been above 90° in the shade, with the sun blazing mercilessly out of a cloudless sky. honestly, I didn't bring clothes for either kind of weather... not quite sure which I prefer. ;)
as for my chemistry, is it ever really stable?

When I visit folk one of my things is to go on an evening walk alone. That way they can have time without me there and I can have time away from them.
