Dickens, continued

It turns out Dickens is truly a “he,” somewhere from 2-4 years old, neutered. The vet recommended sedating him in order to groom him, and shaving his belly because his fur was so tangled. I am sure he will feel much better afterward. Am going to visit him tonight, and hope to get some photos of him after he has been cleaned and groomed.

Three cat family, coming up.

I would LOVE to keep him, but my other 2 cats would freak out. We've had territorial issues before when we tried this. On Monday or Tuesday, Dickens will go to a friend of mine in Frederick. I will still get to see him regularly. :)

People that would treat a pet this way should be stripped naked and made to live in the woods to fend for themselves and see how they like it.

Agreed. I hate to see people let their pets run. It is possible he slipped out, but who knows.
