as gas prices go up, the people at gas stations seem to get stupider.  no really.  attendants, customers, everyone.  maybe it's not idiocy taking place... just a vast impatience and malaise over the whole subject.

just a thought.

good to know. i watched 3 attendants sit around and watch as this guy ranted for a good 5 minutes about his card not working, and how he was sure they were trying to take his credit information, etc. and then one reached over and took his card, swiped it in the register and said, "you're all set sir" like nothing was wrong. i know the attendants weren't "dumb" but frustrated. but it still held up the 3 people behind him. ;-)
