Stolen from soraaoi

1) Go to google and type in "You know you're from (your state here) if.."
2) Steal the ones that apply to you
3) Paste and bold them into your lj
4) Share with friends!

You know you're from New Mexico when...

You can correctly pronounce Tesuque, Cerrillos and Pojoaque.

Your next door neighbor has a sweat lodge in her back yard.

You can order your Big Mac with green chile.

You buy salsa by the half-gallon.
(that was on the shopping list last week...)

Your Christmas decorations include "a yard of sand and 200 paper bags".
(It's just not the holidays until I've folded at LEAST that many.)

Most restaurants you go to begin with "El" or "Los".

You price shop for tortillas.
(that's on the shopping list every week.)

You have an extra freezer just for green Chile.

You think a red light is merely a suggestion.

You know they don't skate at the Ice House and the Newsstand doesn't sell newspapers.
(*eeeeevil ecchi cackling*)

All your out-of-state friends and relatives visit in October.
(Balloon Fiesta goodness!)

You know whether you want "red or green."
(Green, thankyouverymuch.)

At any gathering, regardless of size, green chile stew, tortillas, and huge mounds of shredded cheese are mandatory.

You know that The Jesus Tortilla is not a band.

You wish you had invested in the orange barrel business.
(actually, I think my grandfather did...)

And I'll add a few of my own...

You just can't start your morning without a good breakfast burrito.

The best cold/sinus medicine EVER is nice, hot green chile stew.

You can spell "Albuquerque" without a second thought.
