It's the last crunch before exams! I think all the profs say, "how can I make them squirm?" and then they pile an entire month's worth of work onto you all at once, just to make you crazy.

At least, that's what I'm believing they do. Because I'm looking at the schedule the exact same way, thinking, "day-um."
