Mandarin pop enthusiasts, I have a favor to ask of you: does anyone recognize the first song in this video (it starts at about :20)? Can you hook up the title and artist, or an mp3? Sorry to make you click through, but this is coming from the Chinese Youtube and I can't find the embed code. [Video via ChinaSMACK] EDIT: I got it! Thank you, ic70492.

I *LOVE* ox-tail soup, but in a can?? That doesn't sound too good. Did you try any?

We have it in cans here too... in fact, all the soup I buy is canned. Is that weird?

haha totally not weird. Is it comparable to the homemade version though? I guess I'd assume homemade tastes better.

Ugh, I hate Oxtail soup so much. Brings back hideous childhood memories. *shudders*

The Free Gift chick is wearing an awesomely lolarious outfit, isn't she!

ever have cow hoof soup? had it once. thought it wasn't literal that there would be parts of a cow hoof in there. you know, bird's nest soup doesn't have a bird's nest in it (right?). surprise surprise. if you are lucky, you actually do get to nibble on some hoof gelatin!! mmmmmm!!

Bird's nest soup DOES have bird's nest in it :) Swifts build their nests using their saliva, but it dissolves when put in water -> soup.

I am a supporter of oxtail, but cow hoof is horrific. It's cartilage. *shudder* And no one disguised it up nice as soup for me -- I had a cow hoof on a bed of rice. "Cowfoot and beans."

so they are handing out Hannukah-related chocolate to people in the malls because 600 Jews live in one of China's provinces?
