Well there's hope yet for the comics. Buffy is acting more mature than thus far. More like the person she was headed towards being in S7.
I'm glad they decided to go this route instead of breaking them up and not just because I ship Spuffy. Buffy needs to mature and if they just broke up especially for the reasons Spike suggested that would not be happening.
Yeah, I was rolling my eyes, and was going to lose all of my... admittedly small respect for the comics if they didn't have some kind of reasonable discussion about that.
It looks like the writers of S10 are better than the ones in prior comic storylines. I mean how hard can it be? The actual plot in a comic is tiny and if they can't get that right.... Don't get me wrong I grew up reading and loving comics but how they can possibly explain s8 and s9 is beyond me!
I know almost nothing about season 9. Season 8 I know TOO MUCH about and I haven't even read it. Angel fanbois who think destiny rape is the way to go, maybe?

The current writer for BS10 is Christos Gage who wrote the Angel & Faith during that first season that ran concurrently with BS9.
