As some of you know, I was in the hospital for a few days. The admitting internal medicine doc released me yesterday, although the surgeon (surgery being a last resort for my problem) argued vehemently that I needed to stay. I was ready to go

They aren't doing the biopsy yet, treating the swollen lymphnodes with a bunch of at-home meds until they, hopefully, subside. I will have another CT scan done in a week, then that will determine whether the biopsy is necessary.

The ER doc that told me "You have cancer, gotta have a biopsy" was just trying to scare me, I think.

Whatever he was trying to do, that was a rotten way to do it and I'm sorry you were subjected to such poor behavior.

I hope your meds work well, and your pain is dramatically reduced soon, Ash.
