I opted not to stay in the hospital after surgery, and I think it was for the absolute best. I have been healing SO quickly! I immediately went to a job interview and only sleep when I am in a lot of pain or very, very sleepy. I went off of the percocets after two days and am now stabilized on the occasional Tylenol. I'm so glad the surgery and recovery is going well, (and I hadn't posted to say it but I'm happier to see you back on LJ!).

If you are ever comfortable enough, I would love to see before/after pictures. It's probably an odd request, but you're the only person I've known that has gone through this surgery and I'm fascinated/curious.

I would be thrilled to post pics soon. As far as BEFORE pics....I guess that is a necessity, but I'm still a little self conscious. It was a lotta grody skin since the weight loss was so prevalent, but I'm sure I'll get over that and post.
I'm happy to be back!! Really enjoying catching up.

Yeah the drain thing always creeped me out about most surgeries like that (I looked into breast augmentation a while ago)...good to hear it's not so bad! And like Misty, I really want to see before and afters even if you just e-mail them! (Promise not to share and will delete if you want) :D
