Does anyone have a recipe for corn soup?

I have a winter corn chowder but I weanted to make something with fresh corn.

Please remember if it has lots of other vegetables anbd they can not be reomved from the recipe Mr Ely will not eat it. He will eat celery, and onion in it. Plus it can not be spicy.

The only recipe I have is: BLT Chicken and Corn Chowder and it calls for frozen corn, but fresh corn could work. Sorry I can't be more useful.

I Googled corn chowder recipes and found this: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1948,147177-251207,00.html
It has potatoes, celery and sliced carrots,but the carrots could easily be left out. If Mr. Ely likes a creamy, cheesy soup, this sounds good.

When I was a kid, our church's women's group had corn chowder dinners, and I remember the chowder being a thick soup with a tomato base.

I actually have a quite good corn chowder recipe, it only contains onions, potatoes and corn. I only have to look if I can find the mail from my sister.
