Basically, it's almost the same thing as taking quizzes (like the Jane Austen hero quiz I just posted the other day. :) )
For example, there is an lj community I am member of called literaryheroine ... I take a survey there where I answer basic questions...(like the Jane Austen quiz you took that said your hero is Mr. Knightley, for example)...If in that survey (or theme), the possible results are Mr. Darcy, Colonel Brandon, Mr. Knightley, Henry Tilney, etc..., the members of the community would vote on my result rather than the result being programmed
