DAMMIT. Masaru mentally cursed as Bel easily dodged him AGAIN. But this time was different, Masaru involuntarily flinched as he felt a small pain on his cheek.

Bringing a hand to the area, he pressed it, and sure enough, he saw a bit of blood on his finger. "Wha-?" Cuts and wounds don't bother Masaru, he'd had WAY too many for that to happen, but what did bug him now was that he didn't understand how that cut had been formed.

He rubbed his cheek again. Whatever. It was a really small cut, anyways, nothing to worry about, right? And so he brushed if off and continued on with his attacks. Ignoring that probably wasn't a good idea...

Bel took another knife and tossed it towards Masaru, missing but going around another column. "Ushishishi."

Throwing knives, again? Masaru dodged the projectile once more, and then ignored the thing once it went past him. AGAIN.

Masaru was getting annoyed now, "Oi. I thought you said you were an assasin!! You're good at dodging and all, but can't you do anything else to attack other than throw knives!?! COME ON. Now I'm the one getting bored here!"

Oh yeah... he was asking for it.

"Ushishishi," he snickered, gliding out of the way once again, but once again, a cut forms on Masaru's arm, a very fine cut. "I like to play with my prey."

And again, Masaru flinched. "What the-?" He looks over on his arm, the source of discomfort, and sees a fine red line appear.

"THE HELL!?" Okay, now cuts weren't a problem, but that was when he knew what was causing them. These were seemingly appearing out of nowhere and were starting to alarm the street fighter.

He looks around the room and now finally notices the knives that were around the columns, "Just what kind of technique are you using?" he asks, finally realizing Bel was doing something that he had never come up against.

"I told you, I'm a Guardian of the Wind," Bel repeated. It wasn't magic, but Bel definitely had a technique, one that was strategic and playful, but he wasn't about to reveal it to Masaru. Not yet. He was having too much fun to do that.

And so he sent a few more knives whizzing past Masaru's left arm.

"GAHH!" Masaru dodged the knives suddenly aimed his way, but instead of ignoring them when they passed him, he followed them as they rounded the columns and was confused when they just seemingly hung there.

"WHAT THE HELL?! Guardian of the wind or not, I thought all powers and stuff were useless here?" Masaru held up his fists close to his face in a guarding position. The brunette was now put on the defensive, and he didn't like it one bit.

"DAMN."

"It's not magic," Bel stated. "Ushishishi." He tossed a few daggers to the right of Masaru.

Masaru maintained his defensive stance watched the daggers whizz past again. He didn't understand why, but he had the strange sense of being caged in.

"Fine, then care to explain?" he said, glaring at the blonde. Thinking nor strategy was his forte. Nope, his way of thinking was simple: go and beat up the opponent.

"You're not too observant, are you?" Bel snickered, shoving his hands in his pockets. He'd wait for Masaru to make the next move, although moving right now wouldn't be very easy, resulting in cuts and limited mobility.

Masaru scowled, then he realized why exactly he'd felt caged. Because he was, by various wires that were attached to the knives that Bel had thrown before.

He felt like he had been hit with a ton of bricks. How had he missed seeing those before?! "DAMMIT!!!!!" he yelled, moving around to try and locate all the wires, only to feel the sting from a wire cutting into his left shoulder. And he already knew there were wires to his right since Bel had just thrown the daggers there a few moments ago.

"GODDAMMIT!!" he spat. He couldn't move left or right, so.. "Fine, I guess the only way is to go forward, then!" he said, charging at Bel once more.

"Ushishishi," Bel snickered. "A fighter, I see. Squirming only makes it hurt more." Seems Masaru had forgotten about the ones Bel'd thrown to his left.
