Ryou liked the snow. With no Domino people in sight, he found himself wandering outside. The deck had become so wonderful. Ice skating looked like so much fun. Why not give it a try?

How beautiful! How pretty!

Deedlit harboured a rather thrilled smile as she lifted her hands to catch the snow that was falling from the... Well... The sky she supposed. Though it was unlike any sky she'd ever seen and it was nothing like Lodoss' sky.

There was ice beneath her feet and had she been back home, she would have used the spirit of the wind to prevent any sort of breakage. She'd heard of the skating rink, but didn't seem to know what that was. As expected, there was nothing more surprising than the little shoes with the blades. Some people twirled. Some people appeared to be performing fancy maneuvers.

I'll practise here first! And then maybe out there a little later!

At least that was what she told herself. Lifting her hands, she adjusted her green cloak. Then she pushed her weight onto one foot and forced herself to twirl, failing to observe her surroundings. Then again, since her arrival, it wasn't like her to pay attention. Unfortunately.

"Oof!" Ryou wasn't expecting that, and the impact caused him to flail just a bit before regaining his balance. He turned around to see who it was, "Oh dear, are you---", and stopped. The woman looked like a Duel Monsters card, probably the Elven Guardian's sister. Definitely a Yugi-like card. "...okay?"

Her hand must have hit him in the face. Or somewhere like that. She whipped around and instantly began to reach her hand for her scabbard.

And then she remembered that it wasn't there. And neither was her bow. Her weapons had been confiscated when she was brought onto the ship. This person, however... She examined his clothes. He was looking pretty casual. Casual? That was the word for it, she guessed.

"Oh! Ah... Heh. I didn't see you! You're just about the cutest thing I've seen on this ship since I got here!" Extending a hand with those long fingers, she patted him on the head. "I'm fine! Are you okay?"

There was one thing that was good about the snow. Renji would probably stay inside his room complaining. Because, honestly lets consider the things Renji wore... he just wouldn't survive in the snow.

However, Ichigo wanted to go iceskating. So, that's exactly what he did.

Kio had managed to make it up to the Olympus deck, though he was definately ready for the colder weather. Wearing a tan trench coat he took a seat off to the side of the rink, not really knowing if he wanted to try skating or not. If Soubi had been there Kio would have certainly drug him to go skating; even if he had never done it before. Then again for the moment he was content to just watch, and pulled out a sketch pad and some small paints from his bag.

Juudai had been building a snowman together with Hane Kuriboh. The small duel monster had gathered small pebbles and branches for decorations while the duelist had built the body. Juudai kinda wished they had an extra scarf and hat, but overall he was pretty pleased with their work.

That done, Juudai contemplated what to do next; he hadn't found any of the other guys to have a snowball fight. "Hey aibou, you wanna go to the skating rink?" The monster chirped happily at the idea, so they headed off. Juudai smiled at seeing all the people on the ice, it was a nice scene. A person along the edge of the rink caugh his eye, was he... drawing? Curious, he bounded over, "Hey, can I see?"

Kio looked up hearing someone ask if they could see, "Sure, though I haven't much done yet." Smiling Kio sat down the brush he had in his hand, along with the scrap sheet he had been using to mix some of the paint before turning the work to where the other would be able to see. So far it wasn't much, mainly just the area surrounding the ice rink, and the actual rink itself; Kio hadn't started on adding details yet so all together it was all that impressive.

"Wow... it's looking really great, though!!" Juudai wasn't much of an artist himself, which only made him appreciate Kio's work that much more. "I've never met ya before. My name's Yuuki Juudai and the little guy is Hane Kuriboh," he said, gesturing to the duel spirit by his shoulder.

"Is it okay if we watch ya for a while?" Kio's work was looking really great and Juudai wanted to see the finished picture.

"Stupid monkey," rang out the familiar deep voice of the lineman. "You need skates." Toganou frowned, bundled up in a red deimon-like coat with a white scarf. (of course the orange shades were a given.)

"Probably that place over there," Toganou pointed at the stand. "And it's fake snow, stupid. Everything here is fake."

Haruhi stands at the edge of the rink, eyeing it with something akin to confusion.
"It's snowing." Her tone is bland. Can you tell she's still getting settled in to the place?
Still, the rink looked pretty and even if Haruhi didn't have skates - or have the first clue how to skate - she could still enjoy watching others skating.

Thus the teen plops an elbow on the rink railing and stands leaned into it with her chin in her hand. She's bundled up in a plain brown coat, having had some notion that she might need a coat.

Takami wasn't one for skating, either. Mainly it was because he didn't want to risk falling and messing his leg up even more than it already was. But childhood injuries aside, he rather enjoyed watching it.

He walked up to the railing, wearing a black jacket with a white scarf wrapped around his neck, and a pair of earmuffs. This ship was certainly something, snowing inside without any definite or noticeable origin of where it was coming from. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a girl leaning against the railing, looking rather... bored? No, more like... a little confused. Perhaps she was new here.

"Not the skating type, I assume?" he asked, starting a conversation. It was nice to talk to a fresh face.

Chin still in her hand, Haruhi looks out from the corner of her eye to the man coming up next to her. He was a bit more bundled than her and now she began wondering if she should have brought her scarf too.
Not that she had expected snow though.

A pleasant smile touches her face, "I never learned how." It never seemed practical when Haruhi could be doing other things with her time.
"You?" Her tone was casual, certainly not dismissive at the chance of conversation.

"Never cared to learn. I spent all my time playing football." Takami replied with a chuckle. It was pretty much the truth. But he hadn't played football since being stuck here on the ship, except for the occasional ball throw. Besides, without Sakuraba and Shin....

No. Not the time to think about them.

He had to look down quite a ways to see her, Takami observed, which was... to be expected when you were taller than the average person. Even then, she was pretty short. "Have you been on the ship long?"
