She heard the laughter in the kitchen. She hadn't heard as much a peep from her roommate, so the noise was quite unusual. Cautiously, she peered around the corner to find an incredibly cute dragon and a..... was that a girl or a boy?

"That dragon is so cute!!!" Dawn flailed at the stranger. Piplup followed excitedly in tow. "You have pokemon too? That's so cool."

He jumped and spun aroun, Syri coming to sit on his shoulder and ready to bare her teeth for her mommy. When he saw that it was a girl he easily guessed it was Dawn. At the mention of pokemon he blinked and looked around, pulling on his clothes and then turning to look over both shoulders.

:I have a what?"

"A pokemon, like Piplup here," she pointed out her own pokemon, who repeated its own name excitedly. "Like most living things!" This guy was like Raenef or whatshisname who hadn't heard of them.

"The blue chicken?" he asked confused. He admitted that the little thing was cute (not as cute as Syri of course) but he didn't understand how it being a chicken made it a pokemon. "Nooo, Syri Freya is a dragon."

At the mention of her own name Syri trilled and slapped her green wings, holding her head up high.
