I'm adopting a new philosophy on life. I'm acting like everything's ok, in hopes that this alone will make it so.

I like the internship, except the busy work part...and th is business of not getting paid. I'm excited about getting published, however, and the staff seems really nice. They're not stuck up like what I experienced at the Daily.

You may be a bit on edge today as you worry about your desire for love and acceptance. Naturally, you want to feel needed. But you also may avoid situations of complicated emotional interdependence. Instead of seeking a non-existent simple solution, practice being comfortable with all sides of a relationship.

All I want to do is delete MySpace but the damn e-mail hasn't come yet to allow me to do so. I have a plethora of good personal reasons for doing so...not even just my recent parting with a guy who nicely tried to tell me I "wasn't his priority," but because it consumes my time and a lot of people on it aren't my real friends. I'm going to try out this open relationship, as he says he wants to wait until after he graduates to date any girl. (he claims 10 consecutive years of relationships wore him out) I know my decision is probably foolish, but he does certain things better for me than any other guy I've had, and I'm not just talking physical.
