Anyone used Dry Ice before?

I've been surfing and have not yet found specific answers to my questions regarding dry ice.

I have a small 48 qt. cooler that I wish to put some pre-cooked/meat items in and cover with dry ice to keep them frozen.  From what I have found so far, I would need to put the items on the bottom, cover with a layer of newspaper (to prevent "freezer burn ( Read more... )
