Hey hey, these are nice. I especially like the half faces of both Heath and Joker, the texture makes them look drawn. ^_^

Honestly these aren't half bad for a first attempt! You might want to work on cropping though.

When you place the subject of a picture directly in the middle, it really limits your creativity for text and textures. *see my userpics for different examples of cropping* Try to focus on a part of the face. If you need any more help, I'd love to chat.

Thanks. I am trying to figure out how to do texting. It's hard in the program I have though because it makes it where you manually have to place the text and if you want it to curve or anything, you have to do each letter and it never looks right. I'm sure there is some way to do it but I'm still trying to rifle through all the options (without the help of a manual).

I also can't figure out layers :(
