Ugh. They are so cute. This is so cute. I like how you show the two sides to Jeff, the smooth-talker and the kind of lame but sweet dude that he really is.

It's really hard to balance those two sides of Jeff, but Annie kinda brings it out in him, so that makes it easier to write.

I love the sort of softened expression he gets on his face when he looks at Annie. It's the sweetest thing. It reminds me of Logan from Veronica Mars (don't know if you ever saw it) - he starts of as this rebel-without-a-cause rich kid antagonist, and then he falls in love with the heroine and you see this whole other side of him that she brings out. Obviously Jeff isn't an antagonist, but his cool-guy mask definitely slips with Annie.

Thank you! That is my favourite Jeff/Annie moment, I like it even more than the kiss.

I had such a hard time writing Troy (even tho he only has, like, 2 lines <3) so I'm glad you liked it!

Oh, bravo. I loved Jeff's extended freak-out with the stepping up (figuratively and literally) and then freezing and then stepping back and then running: his absolute terror and inner monologue is so...familiar!

And the shoes! I'll wear them everywhere. !! Yay!

Jeff's movements are so real to me that I see them perfectly in my mind, but I always worry that I'm not conveying that well enough. So I'm glad to hear you liked it. It makes me feel relieved.
