This is so amazing, and it made my day to see you updated it. I can't believe how emotionally invested I still feel in a fic where one half of my only OTP is dead but that's just a testament to your writing. The pacing in this is superb, too.

It kills me to imagine how horrific it must be for Logan to have to deal with everyone not only thinking he could do that to Veronica, but outright comparing him to his dad. A part of me thinks that, if the show ever went this route for some crazy ass reason, Logan probably would have hung himself in his cell by this point. So I'm thankful that he's somewhat keeping it together here. At least enough to not be banging his head against the bars or trying to gauge his own eyes out, I don't know

Oh, p.s- I'm loving how you're utilizing Piz in this, too. It's just all-around incredible.

Somewhat being the key word, right? I honestly don't think I considered whether Logan would try to kill himself in prison, even though I instinctively felt he'd make for the Coronado Bridge when he found out she was dead.

I really am having fun with Piz myself. I don't really hate him like so many people in the fandom do, perhaps because I can relate to that desire to have someone who's simple and straightforward, not messy and complicated like Logan/Veronica always were.

And you'd think with the direct the show was going that you could have easily spent a few episodes with Veronica missing, kidnapped or otherwise in mortal peril to give the rest of the cast something to do and the audience not playing "Where's Wallace?"

Utterly fantastic. Veronica's presence is palpable even though she's dead. The mystery has my head spinning! And the news that more chapters are coming soon? and that you will be writing more VM fic--how can it get any better?

Hah, I'd say I've written about half of chapter four and half of chapter five, so I'm shooting for a new chapter within about a week to two weeks, depending on how fast I can commit words to paper (keyboard?) and my dear beta can edit. In the meantime, I'm trolling the hard drive for mostly completed fics to entertain in the meantime.
