Er, on Tuesday. Been feeling a little lazy.

Well, I say lazy. I really mean overwhelmed. I've got a job as a long-term sub teaching drafting and engineering -- two things I know nothing about -- until they find someone who's actually qualified. I got fingerprinted this morning. where are you teaching? I've taught both drafting and engineering, so if you want to chat or anything, let me know. I'm perfectly willing to listen to someone else express amazement that students can't draw a straight line, much less a dashed one. Oh, and: embrace the power of two plastic triangles and how to use them to make a series of parallel lines. impresses the audience every time.

Oh, you know, small town Virginia. It is, THANK GOD, CAD-based, not hand drafting. Mostly, the kids will be doing tutorials. "Here, have a book! You know how to hit F1? Great!"

Welcome to Virginia! When stuff settles down for you, we have to meet up. You're always welcome in Alexandria or maybe we could all meet in halfway in Richmond?

Thanks! Yeah, it's worth a try. I'll get caught up with my work sometime, I swear! Also, to be honest, I love my dad, but there's not that much to do here.
