Still no word on when we will be getting our new internet. service.

After some consideration on what to do about my dead computer, I ordered a new HD through newegg at the recommendation of b_hamsterno26  and her father (and after running the expense past mechanteanemone , of course).  Should be here Friday.  Hopefully I will have the HD installed and my OS copied onto it on

No internet, not fun! Is it not an option to take a laptop to a coffee shop? Ask permission of a neighbor to leech until your own service is activated?

Both of those options, while theoretically viable,require access to hardware that we do not possess. However, it appears that we now have at least limited internet access, though there is still something preventing Facebook access.
