so, i saw your update, got nostalgic for my bb cook and wanted to read something from his perspective, did so, and got hooked by this story, so went back and read the whole thing from the beginning.

and it's seriously lovely. normally, i have a really hard time reading effy with anyone but cook and vice versa, and even though i'm not 100% sold on effy/jj because i feel like she'd stomp on his heart worse than cook's, your characterization of everyone is just perfectly spot on, and i love it! i'm so intrigued to see where this is heading and how they'll all come out of it.

also, +100000 for freddie/katie! they're one of my favorite couples. :)

oh, and i'm so glad for this little interlude from cook's POV, because you just feel so awful for him, cause you know how much he loves that girl, and it breaks my heart.

so basically tl;dr... this is awesome and i love it! :D

I'm really happy that you decided to go back to the start and that it worked for you, despite your feelings for Cook/Effy. And, yeah Effy could stomp on his heart, but much in the same way as she doesn't with Pandora, I think it's too easy for her? Anyway, there's still some turns to come in that one, so :)

Ah, Freddie and Katie. I think if Freddie hadn't used her in the way he did in S3 then I'd like them a lot more, you know? Saying that, Katie with anyone works for me!

Cook needed to have some of the story from his POV, a large part of this story is the dynamics of the three musketeers and I'm pleased that you thought it worked!

yeah, freddie treated her like crap in s3, but barring all the drama, i think they're kind of perfect for each other. katie wants someone she can boss around and call by pet names and who will be obsessed with her, and that's freddie haha
