Yeah, I really didn't want to push it beyond the point of no return as it were, cause I'd like to think that Gina in her heart is a good mum, behind all the misguidedness, and that Cook is a good mate to Naomi and wouldn't overstep the mark. But he'd go damn close ;) Thank you! ♥

I think your Cook characterisation gets better with each story. Really? I always worry that if there's been too long since I've seen an ep of skins that I turn him into my fanon rather than canon, and have to go remind myself that sometimes he's not just the lovable rouge that I think he is, and also smashes up cars and breaks out of jail and humps and dumps his friend's sister etc. So, that's such a compliment, thanks!

Well...I think he's a lot truer to how I see him than he was in, say, your first fic (the Katie/Cook, Emily/Naomi lesbro one. I can't remember its name, sorry!). In that one he was just he loveable rouge with nary a reference to Effy. I do think is quite a twitsed character in canon (and in fanon this is often glossed over or forgotten); he has anger issues, he isn't as loyal as he claims he is and has no capacity for forward thinking whatsoever. At the same time, he can be totally goofy and charming, and you know what, I think he'd totally fuck Gina if she wanted him too. I'm not even kidding, that boy thinks with his penis most of the time. Naomi would flip out (hmmm.....fic idea, anyone?) Anyway, so yeah....I think in this context, Cook behaved completely in character (or as far as I see him, anyway)

Ah yeah, that's true. I wanted to do something fun with that, and I found the Freddie/Effy/Cook triangle was rarely that, so just sort of... pretended like it wasn't happening? Lol, yes, you're right, in the sense that he's definitely got anger issues, and can't think beyond the now, it's impossible for him not to be in the moment. I sort of love that about him actually, as a character only though, it drives me mad in a real person.

LOL: Naomi would flip out (hmmm.....fic idea, anyone?) No joke, when crackfoxx tried to convince me to write them, she came up with this: this morning i thought; imagine when naomi finds out, she's like, "you motherfu--!" cook; "choose your words wisely, naomikins."

Hmmm. I'm not sure I'd go for Gina/Emily, but I could sort of see Cook finding all females over the legal age being fair game, so ;)
