a) Agree brother > mom. I don't know why.

b) Episode 3 of last year (when rewatched) made me realize that Thomas is perhaps the character they bollocksed up the most, as he started out as uncannily moral (by Skins standards) without being a boring twat, and then ended up as Freddie From Africa, more or less. I... may be alone in this, but I think that keeping him with Panda this year would be doing him a disservice, as there is more growth and exploration away from her than with her?

c) It was the hair. Watching Episode 2 made me laugh out loud at Luke's obvious bowl-cut, like he's Aaron Carter circa "I WANT CANDY" or something. He's close to the oldest and they've made him look like a floppy child? The style choices on Skins will never make sense to me, as they did at one point make a concerted effort to make people like April Pearson pseudo-attractive--why are they punishing this cast so hard? [And by this cast I mostly mean Lily "FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC/HAIR METAL" Loveless but it holds for Luke as well, obvs.]

Thomas had one of the strongest eps last year (his was the first one where I thought, oh they might nt have fucked up this cast change after all) and then they never used him the way they could have after that. The pandora/cook thing was an awful plot device, and that's all he got to play off really. I could have liked them together if the panda out of character continuation of the 'affair' didn't happen, but it did so I'm with you on the end of T/P.

I don't know why they would get good looking kids and make them ugly. Like, why bother? I'm sure here's ugly kids who act too and it would be far less effort if it was ready made. Freddie will never be attractive because he opens his mouth, but the hair does him no favours. It doesn't make sense when they can look so good! Lily did have the short straw last year, and there's braids this year, so I'm not sure things are going to get any better!
