Since there were rumours of the '06 system not yet working properly, I went to work yesterday eagerly anticipating a day of reading my online manual, setting up my outgoing phone message, and generally taking it easy.  I was not anticipating being roped into a morning of training for a "special project", and an afternoon (which is turning into a ( Read more... )

Dude, I have told you: I don't like spending money on myself. There is nothing I want, need, or deserve, and so, until I find someone to spend it on, it's sitting in the bank being generally useless.

Trust me, spending paycheques on oneself isn't nearly as boring as people seem to have told you. ;)

Of course, there are always charities - and donations are tax-deductible, too!

(P.S.: end-of-first-week-update coming soon! I'm just trying to pick a clever nickname like "The Lezzie Farm" or "High School Fantasy Camp.")

Tax deductions are always nice...

And don't feel bad - I have yet to come up with a clever nickname, too. Who knew a new job would come with such challenges? :P

The (not very original) nickname is chosen at last! And isn't it funny how when they say "special project" they mean "absolute nightmare." :S Good luck!
