The story written for me in the dgficexchange was posted, and it is absolutely fabulous. In my (admittedly biased) opinion, it is the best fic of the exchange so far. I am truly very lucky. I'm glad you agree. It's nice to know that my opinion isn't just because of bias. :) Your comments on it were great. I was left pretty much speechless after reading it.

Wow, I am... speechless.

First of all, let me thank you for an amazing prompt. I personally hadn't known anything about The Tales of Beedle the Bard other than what was in Deathly Hallows, so researching them and coming up with creative ways to work them into the plot was so much fun. A challenge, but, you know, in a good way. So thanks!

And second, I am so so so so so happy that you liked my fic, and I'm insanely flattered that you thought that it's the best in the exchange so far. Being the self-critical writer (and not wanting to come off narcissistic) I'd have to disagree, but nevertheless it's awesome to hear that you think so. ^_^

But of course, I'm sure there's still going to be a lot of DG love coming in the rest of the exchange, so until then... :]

I'm so happy that you picked my prompt--especially if you hadn't already read the summaries of the fairytales ahead of time. Your idea of using an allegory turned out to be brilliant, and I really thought Ginny and Draco's relationship developed in a wonderfully natural way. There will certainly be more wonderful stories in the exchange, but I can't imagine they will compare to yours, at least not for me. :) Thanks again for all of the hard work you clearly put into the story. It was a wonderful gift!
