1 The Levellers - crazy, hippy, folky "Revoluuution!!! Yeah!!!" kinda thing. And their bassist's called Jeremy. Ace.
2. Chicken mcnuggets - just not a fan of the whole McDonald's thing, for moral and health reasons
3. C.S Lewis - nothing really surprises me, this is the nearest thing, however NARNIA?? How very...Christian.
4. calm debates- wtf??? Debates are meant to end with someone throwing chairs.
5. Whipped cream - failing that, dairy-free equivalent.

Yes, Narnia has a Christian flavour. But, it's a very entertaining and imaginative series...and my view is, religion shouldn't get in the way of arts/literature. It's not like Mr.Lewis demands you to be a Christian to read it.

lol, ...Calm Debates. if you've ever been to one of the infamous MR debate club meetings, you'd desire calm. And you have. So. There.

I'm not anti-Christian, as you and others may know.

I liked Aslam.

It's just I liked Simba more as he sings lovely Disney songs.

Which brings to next debate topic?

WHICH FICTIONAL LION IS THE BEST?

I'll be here for the river festival (again). Watch the procession. It'll be worth it.

1. Harry Potter - that series is so human and universal, and loaded with allusions to all these wonderful academic things. J.K. Rowling has a gift for reaching everyone, and if I may say so, Tolkein doesn't show this in the Lord of the Rings books.
2. Green Day - enh, they're kind of juvenile.
3. chicken mcnuggets - that's so deeply entrenched in whitebread Republican obese America!
4. the vampire lestat? please explain. it's vaguely familiar...
5. Velvet Revolver!

1. YES! I think HP is a better read than Tolkien really. But then HP wouldn't exist without Tolkien I guess, neither would 90% of fantasy fiction. So LOTR is the masterpiece.

2. But fun!

3. It is? Darn, it doesn't mention that in any of my A-Level American politics revisionist guides! *scribbles it down in revision notes*

4. Lestat is a creation of the horror author Anne Rice. He's very cool...

5. I think I saw their vid on TV. No. :P
