I am consistently trying to think of things to write. Constantly. Throughout the day ideas, perfectly constructed sentences, profound similes, run through my head. Yet, I never write them because of lack of motivation because I think its all futile anyway.

I had a teacher once tell me that once an authors words are on paper, they are no longer the authors words at all.

But I do think that is what makes poetry so grand.

However, I had another teacher that said people who believe they can interpret poetry anyway they please are full of bullshit.

I dropped her class.

The way I look at Agnostic/Atheist folks are that they had to believe in something to get them to not believe.

It's a doubly wammy.

I will repost my very first livejournal posting *ever* for you to read. It might be helpful for you to see that everyone struggles with getting words out and that not everything we say all the time sounds beautiful, poetic or even mildly interesting ( ... )
