So, my retainer is pretty annoying but it does its job and I am starting to really not even care that I sound a little funny. It is what it is.
So, my sisters and I went to Psychic Christine yesterday. It could either be the most enlightening experiences of my life or I was completely taken. I don't know. I keep having weird dreams where I am ( Read more... )

Crowd mentalities tend to piss me off, too.

But you should get out and meet people and socialize. Just don't do anything completely fucking ridiculous.

And obviously don't drive drunk or with anyone who has been driving drunk.

I am kind of jealous. I wish I could go with you!

I think the psychic was legit. Really. I felt very strongly about the things she said and she gave some good advice. Plus she spent a lot of time with us that she didn't really have to, you know? She could have had us in and out of there but she just kept talking and giving advice. I could tell by her house that she really takes her work seriously.

Like, she is not just some woman who tells fortunes. She gives spiritual advice. And really, that is what this whole thing was about. Regardless, the stuff she told you to do was GOOD STUFF. You should listen to her. I think I might come back over Thanksgiving to get my chakras cleansed. 300 bucks. It's like, a 2 hour thing.

YUM.

if you're going to spend $300 on advice, take this free advice instead. keep your $300 and spend it on ammunition.

or buy some brain-depends instead.

Any relation to Kool Aid?

LOL!!!!!

admit it, that was f-ing hilarious.

and yes, psychics in all their infinite wisdom are to be taken literally. The entertainment value is reality playing out exactly as predicted...which for all intents and purposes is cheating. Not to mention a rather dull way to enjoy one's life.

p.s. - your sister's advice (much like Charlatan Christine's) should construed as mental incontinence.
