This will offend almost everyone I know.

Today I was reading NORML's website and came across an interview with Scott Burns, who, though I am not sure, I believe works for the DEA or something of that sort.

Granted, in the interview alot of what Burn's said was to some degree propaganda and outlandish remarks, however I would argue that he made some valid points.

Oh, and the first part was more of a philosophical question:

About setting precedents for normalcy.

Like, if you don't know something as being against what is "right or wrong" than how can you say that it is in fact, "right or wrong"?

That kind of thing.

The fact is, we know little about marijunana in comparison/contrast to alcohol or cigarettes on how it effects the mental/physical health of young kids to justify a reason for decriminilization...if that were the only argument.

It's the simple truth. That is why the issue of money is a common fallback. People respond harshly when they think their tax dollars are being wasted.

More studying needs to be done, before this issue is even considered. We as a nation are too quick to jump to conclusions and often make rash decisions.

We must weigh the pros and cons.
