Plot-driven Stories

So, I've been doing some thinking lately about what's wrong with my once favorite webcomic, Dominic Deegan.  I've come to the conclusion that its suffering from something of a DBZ effect- the characters are just too powerful to be believable anymore and the plots are starting to get old

I tend to prefer character-based stories, though, like you said, the mixture is the best.

Isn't it frustrating when stories you care about seem to fall short of where you think they could go? I wonder if you could e-mail the writer and give him your opinion.

I prefer character-based myself. If the plot's boring, at least I can emote with the characters. That's also what I write. I suck at plots.

You know, emailing him is a possiblity, but I know he just moved to Texas, so the email would probably get lost. Lemme think on it though. I mean, if he doesn't like the email, he can't ban me from the website O_o.
