If you want to swap a handfull of words with me, comment accordingly.

This set of words is from Paka. I have less of a need to separate my analytical sense from my personal response this time around. No idea why...

Thanks for the input!

I am both drawn to and hesitant to engage Native powers like Coyote

Tangential note here; I think Coyote is actually someone you can talk to without it being disrespectful to him or to anyone else really. He's such a pan-American concept that there's a Salish Coyote, a Maidu Coyote, a Lakota Coyote, a Dine Coyote, a Hopi Coyote, so having some strange new version of Coyote isn't that far-fetched, especially since some (I think Lakota) stuff credits him for making Europeans in the first place. There is a Coyoteway ceremony for healing physical illness, but I don't know too much about it. I don't think it's necessarily a great idea, though not an insulting one, to try working with him.

Anyway, I too am still trying to figure out how to relate and yet be polite about it.

I must admit, Coyote is the power I am least fretful over, in this category. ;)

I would love to have some words, and maybe even will think of some for you if brain functions.

Speaking of Native Americans, the idea of Thunderbirds has suddenly come back to me as part of my Oxossi experience, with a laconic voice in my head suggesting that given my Mama, this is not inappropriate.

Hmm... I'm trying to come up with good choices for you...

Okay, I want to give the caveat - like a poker hand, please let me know if you need more words to replace some of my choices if I pick something triggery by mistake...

So:

Family, Self, Drums, Marriage, Initiation, Thunder
