Help to Haiti
[Edited for organization] I'm gathering links for information and resources to help Haiti. I'm trying to only post direct links to organizations that are known, or come recommended somehow, but I'll post links to lists of resources and other articles as well if it seems appropriate. Feel free to make suggestions in the comments if there's something missing you know about.
Specific Organizations:
* Doctors Without Borders is a major favorite. They operate one of the only free trauma centers in Port-au-Prince. All three of their primary medical centers have collapsed, but they have already set up temporary shelters and are offering emergency care on the ground.
* Lambi Fund of Haiti - If you have a Paypal account, info@lambifund.org is the Paypal address for the Lambi Fund, a Haitian-run charity which does fantastic work in-country. This recommendation came through my Mama from Kenaz Filan.
* PlanUSA has a field office and is taking donations. "Plan Haiti works with over 46,800 children and their families, promoting child rights, economic development, health care and education for children. They did a lot of really good work after the hurricanes a few years ago and are a well respected NGO. I have sponsored children and other donated to them for over 20 years." - rowanf
* The William J. Clinton Foundation run by former-President Clinton, who is also the UN Special Envoy to Haiti (as of last April), has set up a fund. Definitely a legitimate charity.
* It seems you really can send a $10 Donation to the Red Cross by Texting ‘Haiti’ to 90999
* Likewise, you can text “Yele” to 501501, to donate $5 to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund.
* Vodou Aid - Its part of Mambo Racines 'Roots Without End Society'. Normally I'm not a fan of Racine, but in this context, I expect it's still helpful.
* Haiti Action Network's Emergency Relief Fund.
* The National Organization for the Advancement of Haitians, New York branch is up and running to gather contributions as well as volunteers. The website for the Haitian headquarters has not updated regarding the earthquake, but this is not entirely surprising, since they may well not be able to.
* If you're the sort who can volunteer to actually go to Haiti and help out, Fill out this form with CIDI to volunteer.

* Google has a page for this linked to their front page, directly under the main search bar.
* Charity Navigator has a list, and apparently helps sift out frauds from legitimate groups. They also have a very useful list of tips for giving in times of crisis.
* Skyward Prodigal has a list of charities from a more Haitian perspective, and with a focus on medical resources.
* Jason at The Wild Hunt has good advice for people who wish to help out, especially Pagans.
* InterAction has another list of support links.
* This News Article gives suggestions for helping.
* An SF Gate Blog is keeping an extensive list of helping groups.
* The Penninsula Peace and Justice Center has a whole list on their website.
Other:
* Credo is gathering signatures to prompt President Obama to temporarily grant amnesty to Haitians in the US - don't deport them to a disaster. That makes sense.

I'm going to figure out if there are any efforts or funds being gathered on campus at my school (which is likely, since it's a Jesuit university), and see about contributing there if it seems appropriate.
I am also pouring offerings and lighting candles to offer my energy and support to the Powers who care about Haiti - the Ancestors, the Saints, and especially the Lwa. I don't believe I need to motivate Them, but They need all the energy and help They can get in order to help Their beloved Haiti.
So far I have made offerings to support the Ancestors in helping Their beloved descendants, to support Papa Legba in opening the way for the Powers to help and in helping the lost be found, and to support my Papa Ghede in helping those who need healing, those whose time to pass (may they go as painlessly as possible), as well as to protect the children, and those who are waiting to be found.
I will also be making offerings to Ogou to support Him in helping with rebuilding, to Azaka to support the land that it may recover quickly and feed all those people, to Erzulie to support Her in supporting the Haitian people in their time of suffering, and to St. Clare of Asisi (Klemezin) to shed light on it all, again so the lost are found, and also so those who are trying to help can clearly see where the help is needed, and what sort.
I don't know what else I can possibly do right now, but this is what I feel compelled to share.
