The Wolverine
Well there are a lot of ridiculous moments in the Wolverine movie, but I remind myself that this is Marvel mutant superhero comic book silliness, so ridiculous is just part of the package... right? I agree w/reviewers who wished for more humor (I don't think comic book heroes should take themselves too seriously), but I always love Hugh Jackman's performance, and I loved having the movie set (primarily) in Japan.
And there were a number of really kick ass women characters, that is always a good IMO.
Anyway, I do recommend.... And don't rush out of the theater at the end (the tag scene is not at the very end, but it is located well into the final credits... and is worth waiting for!).
It was actually a fun day (but it annoys me that my comic book guy never actually has the comics on Wednesday, WTF is THAT about?! Of course my only alternative is to have my comics mailed to me, which would be just as slow and annoying.). I bought some shelves, a new shirt, some green flip flops, and the coolest new sweater (melon pink w/a big hedgehog on it! I adore it):
(lightweight 100% cotton sweater with a HEDGEHOG! LOL).
I tried on rubber boots at a bunch of different stores, but couldn't find any to fit right... but I'm told there will be more in the stores in the coming months (when do the Fall clothes get into the stores?).
And I had a good lunch of turkey on a bagel, which is always nice.
