1. You have 50 dollars in your pocket, what do you do with it?
Probably a nice lunch & a movie... that remains one of my favorite treats, and $50 is enough to treat a friend.
2. What's the worst movie you've ever seen?
'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider', I hated the look of the movie (it looked like a cheap video game to me) and I wanted to leave, but my friend was enjoying it (I have never known why). I've never enjoyed Angelina Jolie, and this was her worst IMO.
There are definitely worse movies but normally I would turn them off.
3. Have you ever seen someone die?
My best friend Bill, from AIDS (I still mourn him)
4. Describe a favourite memory:
I have mostly happy memories, it would be hard to chose one, but I'll pick meeting (and being hugged by) Joss Whedon.
5. If you could choose one place on earth to live, where would that be?
I would need some serious money, but I would love to live in a big city. First choice is New York City... second choice would be London (I should have apartments in both! LOL).
6. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
None. I rarely do. I think I'm not as embedded w/music as most people.
7. Did you have braces?
No, never... thank heavens.
8. What is the last book you bought?
Well I've ordered two on Amazon that will come out soon:
Sue Grafton's 'W is for Wasted'
Laurie R. King: 'The Bones of Paris'
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently?
A lot of stuff about the news is making me very depressed. I really don't want the USA involved in the middle East any more... I want us 100% out of Afghanistan, and I don't want us to go into Syria.
No good comes of it, in my opinion.
10. What do you want most in life?
peace (I was going to say Serenity, but I don't mean the movie! LOL)

Yes and no. There are hundreds of things that I love passionately, none of them are a man. I'm very happy living alone.

Fiction. I'll occassionally love a non-fiction book, but so rarely it is hardly worth mentioning.

It means that the name 'embers' was already taken.
14. What kind of person do you think you are?
Independent, loyal, and occasionally impatient & angry.
I have a lot of close friends, and a lot of people I avoid like the plague.
15. Do you believe there is nothing higher than human kind?
Is this a 'is there a God' question?
I believe that every human has access within to unbounded absolute consciousness, which is something far beyond the divine.
Most people will never try to access it.
16. Which fictional character could you most see yourself marrying?
Lord Peter Wimsey (he is still my favorite)
17. Name someone with the same birthday as you.
Ronald Reagan, Fabian, and lots of other people I don't give a shit about.
18. Name an obvious quality you have.
Optimism.

No, normally I'm not listening to music at all... although I have a lot of music I do like.

Independent, self-sufficient, and nonjudgmental people who love books, movies and TV shows (even if we don't love the same exact ones).
