Help! I'm having a bad hair year!

First off, I wish everyone could see what's going on on my bed right now (it's isn't as dirty as it sounds, I promise.) I have three, count 'em, THREE cats on my twin sized bed, stretched out as far as they'll go, and they won't move! I'm having to put my legs around them, just to hold my knees up to use my laptop. Little wankers.

Either way, colouring, perming, braiding... all of that is going to weaken the hair further--so take that into consideration?
