Sure thing. I hadn't had her on my friendslist for a long time , but I knew we still had a lot of crossover. It's a sad reason to post for the first time in nearly a year.
Yes, I feel the same way about the fandom diaspora. It was so nice having a place where we could congregate. I feel like places like Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, etc are so low content, low interaction. And I go back and forth about trying to run an independent blog on a domain because it was always the interaction that I found most compelling about LJ and blogging on a non-shared platform feels a lot like speaking into the void ever since Google made all those algorithm changes years ago.
yes, I think so too. And I updated my post to reflect that the lack of memorial is at Kassie's wishes, not her family's. You probably told me that when we spoke, but I didn't remember. It makes perfect sense. I'll have the nuns say a prayer for her mom since I can't send her a card. How you holding up?
