I know it's been about 5 years since this was done, but I keep coming back to read this so I figured I should leave a comment this time around. That is, if anybody actually pokes around these parts anymore.

This is the definitive Soren/Stefan fic for me, haha. Even as a fan, the only scenario I can see the pairing working out in is if Ike is out of the picture--and this is almost exactly how I imagine it happening (except maybe with Ike/Soren being in a relationship, but w/e). One of the things I love (and hate) about Ike/Soren is the whole different lifespans thing, and I think Stefan is able to provide, at the very least, a bittersweet ending for the remaining chapters of Soren's life following Ike's inevitable death

I really liked this, even though I'm not usually a fan of Stefan/Soren. I'm just happy to see Stefan not portrayed as a jerk or a rapist or trying to break up Ike and Soren. Beautifully written and realistic.
