generally monterey jack, but i am a sucker for gruyere

do scallops count? if not, probably orange roughy (which is on the "bad" fish list right now)

never have. probably never will.

um, slightly less than 25 years ago.

When, if ever, did you start liking shellfish?
the only shellfish I really like is scallops. most of the other stuff doesn't excite me.

What was the best thing your mum/dad/guardian used to make?
mom's mac&cheese. as much as i try, mine is never as good as her's.

french fried.

i don't.

some sugar.
unless it's chai (which it usually is)

pumpkin. with whipped cream.

eh, i'm not a huge salad fan. just the basics, i guess, with raspberry vinagrette dressing.

eh, i usually just stop on the way home when i need something, so, maybe once a week? i don't do big shopping trips though.

well, my tiny little jar of cardamom was something like $8.

What's the most expensive piece of kitchen equipment you own?
either the fondue pot (which was a gift) or my mom's old pasta maker.
or, maybe a one of my REALLY nice pans.
