:: The General Concerns
Name: Kid
Age: 20
I am: Canas [also stamped as: mage; cat laguz]
I'm looking for a: Preferably male, but don't hold back if you really think my best match is female.
Fire Emblem preference: 9/10 (but mostly 9 -- haven't finished 10 yet :( ) and 7. 8 if you really think someone from that game fits best, but I prefer the others listed.

:: The Lover
What do you look for in a significant other? Someone who is like-minded but not identical; someone who is understanding, attentive and a good listener when I need it, but still likes to talk, because I love to listen and engage in discussions, (even if they're not all that intelligent). Someone who is honest and has a good sense of humor. An absolute MUST is someone who respects me, more than anything else. I'd much rather be with someone who is chivalrous lol i'm a guy too >>; and an idiot than an intelligent jerk.hey, chivalry is sexy sometimes
Physically speaking, someone at least a little taller than me. I'm a boy of small stature, so I tend to find those taller than me attractive. Preferably on the leaner side, but muscles can be sexy too :D Someone with a nice smile. Also, hands are sexy.
Three major turn-ons? Intelligent (or, alternatively, creative), independent/willful, funny
Three major turn-offs? Exceedingly arrogant, poor listener, plays mind games

:: The Choices
Brave or coward? Whether or not they're able to stand up for themselves doesn't matter to me, because I'd help them if they couldn't. I've been there and I know how it is. But if they're a coward in the way that they would rather save themselves when their friends' needs are more important, then no.
Pessimistic or optimisitc? Realistic, but if I had to pick one of the two, optimistic. Nihilism is unattractive :\
Impulsive or cautious? A little bit of both. As they say, variety is the spice of life.
Looks or brains? Brains is far more important, but looks don't hurt either ;D
Money or personality? Personality. Who needs money when you're miserable?
Love or sex? Preferably both, but I'd hope my significant other loves me! But I'm of the opinion that sex is a component of a healthy romantic relationship.
Marriage or no? I don't care one way or the other. I've been known to have polyamorous tendencies, but I don't think that marriage is inherently a bad thing.

:: The Real You
Describe your personality: Curious, pragmatic, honest to a fault, creative, strategic, linguistically adept, nervy, eager to please, self-sacrificing, anxious, energetic. I love to learn -- that's my main goal in life, is to learn as much as possible (particularly about languages/linguistics, but I'll pick up books on almost any subject).
What annoys you/makes you angry? Dishonesty, playing mind games, refusing to give due respect or basic human respect, rigid-mindedness. Most especially, choosing to be passive aggressive instead of telling me outright if there's a problem. I can't stand that; moreover, I'm not someone who reads other people well, so if you want me to know something, you really ought to just tell me outright. I'm not the sort of person who will be offended by that.
What is your biggest personality flaw? I'm often too nice or forgiving, in that I sometimes fail to set boundaries in my relationships.
What really good trait could you bring to a relationship? I'm very thoughtful for others', to the point that I sometimes forget to take care of myself. I always let people know how much they mean to me, and like to hear about someone's day if they're upset. That, and I could also bring energy and "zest" to a relationship.

:: The Fire Emblem Scenario
How would the two of you meet? Well, it is Fire Emblem, right? *grin* Probably on the battlefield or in the base camp, a humorous situation. For instance, seeing the other person and thinking there is something wrong -- an injury or a poor mood, and going to inquire about it, and then learning about each other as comrades in [insert name of mercenary company or army].
Describe your ideal date: As unromantic as it sounds well, I am a guy :D a brisk training session on the field. And then a nice meal, perhaps one that we made together, and some relaxing. Alternatively, a few hours out and about whatever town or village our army has stopped at.
Your lover is the hero/heroine and has an unbelievable trial ahead of him/her and he/she is having doubts about himself/herself. What do you do? Reassure him with a mix of genuine logic and love. I'd let him know that he's not alone, and more importantly, he's capable of it.
It's the final boss! And he/she has to defeat them! Where are you? Right behind him! I am a mage after all -- support attacks for the win.

Reverse situation: You are the hero/heroine and you have an unbelievable trial ahead of you and you are starting to doubt yourself. What does your lover do? He'd let me know he's there for me, all along, and that he'll do anything he can to help. He'd also listen to me freak out about it for a few minutes before comforting me,and then crack a joke to lighten my mood. It would be called our "A Support" *shot*
Reverse situation: It's the final boss! And you have to defeat them! Where is your lover? Right by my side. I'm not exactly front lines material, so hopefully he'd help protect me and use the 'Rescue' command if things get rough 8D
