I am sorry to my baseballs fan friends.

I fucking do NOT understand why everyone has to act like a bunch of fucktards when our teams do something good.

I take it the Phillie won?

If I hear gunshots I am ducking under my bed. I am SO ready to move from this city.

well don't move to boston because it's just as bad here. people have died in the past few years when either the red sox win the world series or the patriots win the stuper bowl. these events have happened repeatedly in the last few years. it can be a nightmare. i suggest a small mid-western town...LOL.

Do you really think that Philly is the only place that fans go apeshit over the least little thing? Portland may (or may not) have a pro team, but everywhere roots for someone even if just to have an excuse to light fireworks and scream in the streets every 25 years ...

Of course, I'm pissed 'cause I don't get to watch CSI:NY because for some asinine reason, the local CBS station thinks that it's more important to put those partiers in south Philly on camera for an hour (when as far as I'm concerned, the one second view of celebration was plenty - told me they won, and that's all I give a hoot about. Why do I need to see idiots screaming in the street for an hour while inane chatter comes from as many news employees as they can rope into going out into that weather?).

At least I have my DVR'd People's Court to watch ...

I dunno.... I have lived in other cities with winning teams and haven't had this bulllshit to deal with.

Philly seems to be very good at it.

And I adore that Portland spends it's money on things like Public transit and city trash pick-up, education..stupid little things like that. I honestly don't care if they have a winning team of any kind.
