This sounds familar, I went in to the ER with the same symptoms about 3 years ago. I had a catscan and an MRI and then finally a spinal tap. I was diagnosed with viral meningitis and sent home with a vicodin prescription. I slept for a week and I was all better. You should ask your doctor if you he thinks you might have this, the one thing I remember was the EXTREME headache pain, like my head was going to explode.
