[Giovanni just sort of appears out of the snow, white on white, although from the look of it he's been standing nearby for some time now. She might have noticed he's been frequenting Gohl a lot more often now since after the storm, so much so it's almost hard to say he doesn't live there. Except for the past few days. He got a little upset with a certain someone. But he's apparently back.]
Prydain did not seem to want help; it is good he has friends that are more reasonable.
Well, Umi isn't expecting someone to pop up like that, so she jumps a bit when she hears his voice. She definitely noticed the disappearance, though -- she's been spending plenty of time in the house lately, after all.]

[A pause; yeah, that definitely sounds like him.]
...He's pretty stubborn about stuff like that. Sometimes it's definitely a good thing, but right now I think we could use all the help we can get.
[Nope, definitely not. She's a pretty distracted girl right now, to boot, so she's easy to startle.]
'A sign of virtue,' huh... We probably could do it all on our own, if it came down to it. But it'd take a lot longer.
[She looks around at the wreckage that used to be the attic, sighs a bit. There's still snow all over the place -- it hasn't gotten warm enough to melt it yet. Not to mention debris and collapsed beams all over...] I guess, first thing's first. Putting a new roof up won't count for much if all this junk's still all over the place.

Being adamant in some things is a sign of virtue; in others it is simply stubbornness in the face of the wrong obstacle. I agree.
