Thanks, Honey.

...Yeah. Looks like the whole city took a beating, while we're at it.

That's true. I know Latimer is in pretty bad shape too.

Did the whole roof come down?

Jeez...yeah, that's what I heard. Guess I can't complain much, since all the walls are still okay over here.

[Giovanni just sort of appears out of the snow, white on white, although from the look of it he's been standing nearby for some time now. She might have noticed he's been frequenting Gohl a lot more often now since after the storm, so much so it's almost hard to say he doesn't live there. Except for the past few days. He got a little upset with a certain someone. But he's apparently back.]

Prydain did not seem to want help; it is good he has friends that are more reasonable.

[--A wild assassin appeared!

Well, Umi isn't expecting someone to pop up like that, so she jumps a bit when she hears his voice. She definitely noticed the disappearance, though -- she's been spending plenty of time in the house lately, after all.]

G...Giovanni--!

[A pause; yeah, that definitely sounds like him.]

...He's pretty stubborn about stuff like that. Sometimes it's definitely a good thing, but right now I think we could use all the help we can get.

[He smiles in apology for startling her. He forgets that people around here aren't used to his more stealthy ways. Not yet.]

Being adamant in some things is a sign of virtue; in others it is simply stubbornness in the face of the wrong obstacle. I agree.

[He glances around.] What exactly are you trying to do? [He's here to help.]

[Nope, definitely not. She's a pretty distracted girl right now, to boot, so she's easy to startle.]

'A sign of virtue,' huh... We probably could do it all on our own, if it came down to it. But it'd take a lot longer.

[She looks around at the wreckage that used to be the attic, sighs a bit. There's still snow all over the place -- it hasn't gotten warm enough to melt it yet. Not to mention debris and collapsed beams all over...] I guess, first thing's first. Putting a new roof up won't count for much if all this junk's still all over the place.

[Oh ouch. If he wasn't already feeling so shitty over this whole thing he'd definitely do it now. ]

That's not--

...Of course. Would you prefer to do it like this or... meet in person?

[Yeah, that tone's definitely got her nervous about it.]

...I can meet you somewhere.

[And he wouldn't have that tone if he wasn't just as uneasy about what's to come.]

Alright. I'm at the Lights right now but we could go someplace a bit more... private.

No kidding! Jeez. The place is a wreck-- literally.

Prydain said Shinjiro had roofing supplies...I guess we'll be needing to find more supplies once this mess is cleaned up, huh?

Hey, don't sweat it.

I long as we got enough people the job will get done.

Here's hoping. It's definitely pretty drafty with the roof the way it is, so sooner would be better than later.
