My brother turns 20 next week (the same day as Lil's birthday!) and I bought him what I think is probably the funniest card ever.  However, it also points out how incredibly juvenile my sense of humor truly is ( Read more... )

I would advise against getting the insurance for two reasons. First, PetCo does not cover pre-existing conditions and when it comes to humans they can find ways to claim that any aliment is a pre-existing condition. Second, because you know have it on the record that Sophia has had an UTI they will likely a) not even cover her in the first place or b) claim that any symptom that could possibly fit into that category is therefore part of a pre-existing condition ( ... )

I understand about all of the problems with insurance companies not wanting to pay. However, it's still nice to have the piece of mind that if something major happens, chances are good you're going to be protected. PetCo has a program for geriatric cats, which is what I would probably enroll her in. I'm not sure about the whole PETA thing because I don't usually follow PETA. We usually do most of our food and toy shopping at Pet Smart though (better selection), if it really matters. I just want to know that if something should happen to her or us, she will be taken care of. I don't want to end up in a situation where we're deciding "okay, this surgery costs $2,000, they won't do it unless we can pay them and we don't have the money. What do ( ... )

oh! Also...

no, I don't have Lee's contact information. I used to but somehow it's gone. I also don't have the founder's information. And yes, I think that they are married. I found them on some Brethren website, though I don't remember which one or what it was about. Lastly, thank you for the information on Isaac. I had no idea that that happened to him. How did you find out?
